First, decide which AI you will use
Not all AI are built equal. Some are very powerful, others less so but still do a great job for basic tasks. Some are token-efficient, whilst other burn and burn thousands to greet you every morning. And like in every market, there is a solution for every budget.
So before jumping in, make sure that you know which AI (and subsequently, which model) you’ll use to analyze your data. And even before that, ask yourself: what do I actually want to understand / build / report on with AI? It’s trendy, it’s the new thing, every one tells you you need to give it a go, but if you don’t know why and just follow the hype, that’s a clear path to failure.
Now, let’s assume you’ve choosen your AI. How will you get your data in? You can build the pipelines yourself, sure. But it’s going to take some time, may need maintenance, and to be honest, this is not the step where you can afford wasting time, making a mistake or burning your yearly budget.
Then, choose the MCP no-code
Or, you could make a smart move and use a MCP no-code connector that does all the heavy lifting for you, so you don’t have to worry about this part. Below, our list of contenders (all with free trial, so give it a go!):
Supermetrics is a strong solution that connects to top 4 AI currently in the market (well, Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini + Copilot ^^ along with the usual suspects…). With it, you can connect your data in a blink of an eye, ask questions to generate insights and dashboards, but also build agents / RAG workflows whilst making sure that all your access are secured with OAuth 2.0. The little plus? Your data is not used to train public models!
Windsor As they state it: “Less time on data. More time on strategy, execution and growth”. Windsor connects 350+ source of data to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity, Gemini, Cursor, and more… With it, you can again ask questions, design more efficient schemas, use AI agents, … Probably the cheapest as well
Dataslayer is a spanish solution, with a focus on privacy and compliance (ISO 27001) as they offer Mistral AI as a destination. Here, it’s security first, but obviously you can also connect to ChatGPT for general purpose or Claude for advanced reasoning, so same same but marketed different
Catchr is a french solution (cocorico), which at the time of writing this article only connects to Claude & ChatGPT (but more to come). Again, on the lower price range, so may be interesting to have a look and see if it does the job for you on a friendly budget
PMA offers a MCP with unlimited quota available with Custom plan, outage protection, and a stated average price of $140/month (according to their website!), so definitively a solution to consider if you want to ask loads of questions to your data
Funnel has a strong argument: it has data blending that allows you to mix and unify data from different sources whilst adding your own rules, so you are sure that your AI is fed with exactly what you want it to be (no more issue mixing events and conversions from Google Ads Vs Meta Ads Vs TikTok Ads, you set the rules). Plus 600+ channels at the time of writing this article, not to bad as well
Our take? There is no accounting for taste. All these solutions offer free trial, so pick a few, test them, contrast results and performances, assess price against your budget (very hard to tell before hand, will heavily depend on your need), and you’ll be fine.
