When it comes to connectors, there is no one size fits all solution. Some companies heavily rely on 15+ softwares, whilst others work smoothly with just a couple. Agencies may be managing 100+ accounts, whilst DNVB only manage one. In this article, we’ll try to help you understand what are the best Looker Studio connectors for your tech stack (Shopify, Meta Ads, CRM, Omnisend and more!). And, what you were looking for in reality, a price comparison for each stack!

Case 1: the single connector need
We’ve seen this unusual case before. You just need ONE Looker Studio connector! Here, we’d say the following:
If it’s a native one supported by Google, we’re not sure why you’re reading this article
If it’s a premium connector that you need, you may want to take advantage of the free tier that offer Funnel or Windsor (with some historical data limitations for the latter). Or PMA that starts at only $12.46 monthly (if billed annually), good call as well.
Case 2: small company, single account, few softwares
This could be applied to most Shopify out there. Usually, you’ll be managing your Shopify along with some Ads (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, …), GA4 to go deeper in customer analysis, Search Console for your SEO, maybe a CRM tool, …. And you might also have some Google Sheets hanging here and there.
Our take: here, you’ll want to save every penny. So you’ll take advantage of free native GA4, Google Ads, Google Search Console and Google Sheets connectors.
As per the premium, you’ll try to only connect Shopify, Meta Ads and your CRM. Most connectors offer a decent price point below 3 data sources: Windsor $19/m billed annually, Catchr $21.67, Supermetrics 29€, or PMA $44.85. Funnel could still be free (more on this later), or cost 108€, but it comes with higher technical capacities. Your call, we like all of these :)
And if a software offers the possibility to daily export data to Google Sheets, you might want to take advantage of this to save by not wasting a slot of your connector (1/ export automatically on a schedule to Google Sheets 2/ use this Google Sheets as a data source in your dashboard 3/ thank us later).
Case 3: mid/large company, single account, many softwares
This is the tricky case. Because most of the time, it’s cheaper to have 1 data source with 100+ accounts rather than 100+ data sources with 1 account. So it’s likely that the price tag will be higher (but you should have the financial capacity to pay for it ^^).
PMA is a good candidate here, with a Pro tier at $83.29 monthly (billed annually) with unlimited single-account data sources.
Catchr will range between $29.99 for 5 data sources to $45.83 for 10
Windsor ranges between $99 for 7 data sources to $249 for 10 data sources
Up to 7 data sources, Supermetrics come at 159€ monthly (399€ up to 10)
Funnel might be free or the most expensive, hard to make a quote here as it depends on a flexpoints system! But you’d be free (up to 4 connectors), 108€ or 216€ per month. To be noted, Funnel offers a lot of features regardless of your plan, whilst for some other connectors you’d need to pay an extra to get data transformation, data blending, data shares, ….
Case 4: agencies, many accounts, few software
Last but not least, agencies need to make Looker Studio templates easily replicable for all of their clients. They might not be managing that many softwares, but the number of accounts is huge. Here, we’ll be leaning toward the pro / business plans. Tip: always try to contact sales to see if they can make you a quote based on your needs (or contact us, and we’ll see if we can help in the negotation, we work with them on a daily basis).
In terms of prices here:
Supermetrics: up to 10 accounts, 399€. BUT, better to contact sales for a quote here, they are very keen on offering good to very good deals to big clients
Catchr: up to 20 accounts, $70.83. Up to 50 accounts, $137.49. Careful here, 3 Meta ads accounts + 2 Titok ads accounts = 5 accounts
PMA: up to 20 accounts, $83.29. Up to 100 accounts, $249.96. Here, we take into account the MAX. So 3 Meta ads accounts + 2 Titok ads accounts = 3 accounts
Windsor: up to 75 accounts, $99. Up to 200 accounts, $249. Similar to Catchr, 3 Meta ads accounts + 2 Titok ads accounts = 5 accounts
Funnel: again, hard to say, but probably between 108€ and 324€ per month. Again, here it might seem more, but you’ll be able to transform your data, blend it and use one datashare per client, so in our opinion the higher cost can be justified by an easier execution when it comes to replicating templates, to be mentioned
